Bio:

Verena Klös is a professor for embedded Hw-Sw systems at Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg since 2024. Her research focuses on self-adaptive systems and (self-) explainability of cyber-physical systems, as well as formal methods to ensure safety of software systems. Previously, she was a junior professor in the Centre for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Lopp (CeTI) at TU Dresden from February 2023 - Mai 2024. Before that, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the “Software and Embedded Systems Engineering” chair, TU Berlin. She also obtained her Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree at TU Berlin.
